You can't have sports fans without beer fans... and it all starts on the west(left)coast!!!

When you think of enjoying a day at the park watching your favorite sports team, you can't help but think of what tasty beverage you are going to enjoy that day.  All of us out here on the left coast know what a good beer is and apparently the CNN cats over on the east coast are finally catching on.  Here's a link to a cool article that was passed to me about the great spots to check out for a good beer on the left coast.

For those of you in SF, see the list this article points out.  For the best beer experience in the city, La Trappe Cafe' down in north beach is a must.  Be careful, after a few pints down in their beer dungeon you could have a hard time finding your way up to the street level.  Another must is Monk's Kettle in the mish'. Along with the tasty selection of brews don't pass up on a few orders of the fried oysters, can't beat'm!

If I had to pick one beer that stand above all and never fails, I would have to venture up north to Bend, Oregon for a Mirror Pond by Deschutes Brewery.

What's your favorite left coast beer?

Cheers,

Mr. A
