No Love in Oaktown

The Golden State Warriors crushed Minnesota last night by the final score of 100-77. If you were busy watching The Amazing Race instead of the game, I get it. Both teams are bad, Minnesota is awful and Golden State needs to win the rest of it's games and get a lot of help if they have any hope of playing in the marathon that is the NBA playoffs.

Kevin Love came into this game with 53 consecutive double doubles and it was inevitable that he would score at least 10 points against a terrible Warrior defense and a lock to grab 10 boards against a team that is 22nd in the league on the glass and allow the most rebounds in the entire league at 44.8 per contest. That streak was snapped last night and I couldn't be happier. I like Kevin Love, I do. I'd like him even more if he suited up for Golden State every night. What I don't like are miserable teams with good players who get constant attention for breaking records. I do not want you to believe that this record is meaningless because it's not. What's bothersome is the non stop coverage by the jerks at ESPN who show highlights of Love and praise him despite the fact that his team is gives up more points than any other team in the association per game and are ahead of only 3 teams ( Cleveland 12, Sacramento 15, Washington 16, Minnesota 17) in wins. Congrats on your 53 game double double streak Kev and welcome bac to reality.
